TOO SLOW THE TURTLE at Stage aurora

TOO SLOW THE TURTLE, a stage adaptation of Aesop’s fable ‘The Tortoise and the Hare’, with a vast array of colorful characters – a dinosaur, a swallow, a squirrel, turtles, and the rabbit – is an interactive, fun-filled, entertaining production for audience members of all ages.

The play is performed by Bethune-Cookman University’s Tra-Co-Dram Players, and is presented in association with Jacksonville’s Stage Aurora. There will be a 2 PM Matinee and a 6 PM Evening Performance, both on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Stage Aurora Performance Hall (Located inside the Gateway Mall), 5188 Norwood Avenue in Jacksonville. 

Too Slow the Turtle, featuring a talented cast of B-CU student-actors, Holly McDonald (adjudicator for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival) said was “the best show I’ve seen in 17 years” in her review of the November 2014 performance she attend at the B-CU Performing Arts Center.
